As I shared last week I sold the sofa in my living room as part of my latest project. I am looking to replace it with something smaller and more formal. As I do with most of my furniture, I want to keep it neutral so I have flexibility to add different colors and textures seasonally. I have a few go-to places that I look for sofas and want to share some of my favorite neutral sofas to fit any budget.

Alanis Fabric Sofa from Macy’s $699
I have owned a Macy’s sofa in the past and for the price, they are great quality. And they are on sale pretty much every weekend so you can always get a deal!
Carmen Sofa from Pier 1 $799
This sofa is a steal. The fabric isn’t the softest or most comfortable I have ever felt but the lines are very pretty and the nailhead detail is charming!
Rockford Sofa from Home Decorators $999
I just saw this sofa in person yesterday and it’s great. Very well constructed and great fabric options. And if you are in the Kansas City area you can visit one of the only retail stores they have in the country in Overland Park.
Under $1500
Pauline Sofa from Z Gallerie $1099
The Pauline has a nice modern look with a sharp edge and nail head detail. Great for a high-impact design.
Griffin Sofa from Ballard Designs Starts at $1,199
I haven’t seen this sofa in person but the line is beautiful and you can get it custom upholstered in a huge assortment of fabrics.
Pottery Barn Landon Sofa Starts at $1499
A Pottery Barn classic. Great lines and comfy cushions.
Under $2000
Verano Sofa from Crate and Barrel $1799
I love my Crate and Barrel Lounge Sofa that I purchased last Spring. This one is similar, nice and deep for maximum comfort but has a more feminine curved arm.
Highlife Sofa from Thomasville Starting at $1529
I love this mix of comfort and design. Again, this can be custom upholstered in variety of fabrics.
So now I just have to choose which is perfect for my living room. I’ve narrowed it down to a couple contenders so stay tuned to hear more about my design!
